Navigating the wine sales landscape in Southern California has become such a problem for some that it’s been described as everything from challenging to absurd. In this hyper-competitive market the choices for representation have been limited, at best. How does a producer find broad representation that truly reflects the individuality of the winery? The statewide distributors acquire lines almost indiscriminately, making already enormous portfolios gargantuan. The brokers, while at times effective, have been fragmented and insular.
Finally, there is an answer. THE MOSAIC WINE ALLIANCE!
“MWA” is a partnership of three venerable wine brokerages that have served areas of Southern California for nearly twenty years: PMDL & Co. based in Palm Springs, Bergquist Wine Marketing in San Diego, and The Bradford Wine Group serving the Central Coast . Together the three companies represent over fifty years of collective wine sales management, and over that span have represented many of the
premiere labels in the industry.
Add to this mix, the fortuitous availability of Christi Gerlach and John Donnelly. Christi has 13 years of experience as a direct winery representative in the Los Angeles area. John Donnelly of PMDL & Co. with years of experience in the Palm Springs and Riverside market will add and service the Orange County area. With their knowledge, the evolving mosaic becomes truly dynamic.
Spurred by the obvious need and inspired by a longtime vision, this alliance brings to Southern California a team of seasoned sales professionals that will provide knowledgeable, focused representation and a commitment to service that exudes the energy of a new company. Twelve salespeople will be serving Southern California and will carry the Mosaic flag.
